I cannot overstate the quality and diligence of Jill Piazzi's care for my ailing stepmother, Paulette. For over five years, Jill (as "Gray Matters") consistently demonstrated her expertise in elder care. When Paulette was merely "challenging," Jill offered sage advice. But as Paulette's dementia advanced, Jill oversaw every aspect of her care. Jill's phenomenal understanding of -- and extensive experience with -- dementia patients was crucial. But it was Jill's wisdom-tempered lovingkindness that has made her (by far) the single most important person in the last years of Paulette's life. Paulette continues to be comfortable and, as possible, to enjoy life, but she cannot express "gratitude." On the other hand, *I* will be grateful to Jill Piazzi for the rest of MY life.
My parents have elected to "age in place" and remain in their home of many years. I am remotely trying to help them with making sure they have access to necessary services and that they think about and make appropriate modifications to the house to allow them to live safely. A friend referred me to Jill Piazzi and she has been the answer to my prayers! She has been "boots on the ground" as a resource for referrals to care agencies, suggestions for vendors to do tasks like install grab bars, and make recommendations for in home medical equipment. Jill is great at listening to the challenges we are facing, validating concerns and making suggestions for how to approach a solution. She continues to follow up with me periodically to see how my parents are doing and to offer her assistance. It is very comforting to me that Jill is a resource I can call on now and as our needs evolve. I highly recommend Jill and the services she provides!
